The Blessing

Thatchurch   -

Recently, we introduced a beautiful song called The Blessing by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes to our church. This song really speaks to every season that we walk through as believers. It’s straight from scripture and it communicates the heart that God has for us as His children.

Numbers 6:24-26 says “May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you His peace.” This is the blessing that we’re praying over you and your families in this season of uncertainty.

THE LORD BLESS YOU…

May God kneel before you, making Himself available to you as your Heavenly Father, so He can bestow on you His promises and gifts.

AND KEEP YOU…

May God protect you from the harm of your enemies. May He protect your body, soul, mind and spirit. May He protect you and your family and their children and their children for generations to come.

THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU…

May God illuminate the wholeness of His being toward you, continually bringing to you order, so that you will fulfill your God-given destiny and purpose.

AND BE GRACIOUS TO YOU…

May God provide you with perfect love and fellowship with Him, never leaving you, and giving you you sustenance and friendship like no other.

THE LORD LIFT HIS COUNTENANCE ON YOU…

May God lift up and carry the fullness of His being toward you, bringing everything that He has to your aid, and supporting you with His divine embrace and never-ending presence.

AND GIVE YOU PEACE…

May God set in place all you need to be whole and complete in Him, so that you can walk in victory moment by moment, with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
