Breathe.

Thatchurch   -
Today I take a breath, reflecting on this last season. I remember nights spent wide awake, anxiously awaiting the day to follow. My body still reminds me daily of the damage I allowed to take over. My head throbs still because I unintentional carry that old weight with me.
Isn’t it crazy how our thoughts can be so deceitful? Isn’t it unsettling to know that at any moment the enemy is waiting for us to let our guard down? Isn’t it ridiculous to think that we would believe the lies Satan tells us over the truth and promises our loving Father shows us?!
Breathe.
Tonight I take peace in knowing that I don’t have to carry any of it. My time spent in Philippians has been one of the most endearing, refreshing and peaceful conversations I’ve had with my Maker. It has given me a new hope. A hope that is so easily forgotten when the world is allowed to take hold.
Whatever season you are in, I encourage you to spend some time in Philippians. It’s a short book but it’s filled with so many words of wisdom.

You’re ok. God promises. ❤️
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
